When trying to drag and drop an image into a topic, when I hover over it says “Drop files anywhere to upload” however most of the time when I drop it, it doesn’t show up.
Do you know why this might be?
That sounds frustrating! We’re looking into it but haven’t been able to reproduce it yet.
Mind if I ask some additional questions?
- Since you said “most of the time”, it sounds like that sometimes it does work?
- Which operating system and browser are you using?
- What kind of image is it?
- When you drag an image over the topic, you can drag it directly into the description, and it’ll be placed at the position you drop it. Alternatively you can drop it anywhere else on the page, and it’ll be appended to the description. Is it happening for both of these, or only one of them?
As a workaround in the meantime, if you want to add an image into the description, you can click the image icon in the formatting toolbar. Alternatively you could add the image as a file attachment (but then there’s no preview of the image on the topic page, just the file link).
